Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Fess Parker was very well received and liked by our mini tasting group. It opens with fragrant mild black raspberry bouquet with hints of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty strawberry with notes of oak. We also detected hints of cola and black plum. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite some time. This Pinot is very food friendly and it would pair well with a pork tenderloin with thyme and sage. Enjoy

Winemaker Notes: This wine is quintessential Bien Nacido, big, rich and velvety on the palate with loads of forward cherry & strawberry fruit framed in with attractive spice, cola and toasty characteristics adding complexity. This wine is eminently drinkable today but also has a great track record of aging for 6-8 years. Enjoy!
