On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rather smooth and very approachable. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with hints of oak and blackberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are manageable, yet sticky. This cru level Beaujolais is very friendly and would pair perfectly with an Angus burger with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss.
