Wine Review: This pitch black colored Napa Cabernet is very impressive. It opens with mild black currant bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is black currant with notes of integrated oak. I also detected hints of anise, mild black cherry and gentle plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. This wine would pair well with a ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our "Kathryn Hall" Cabernet Sauvignon is our signature blend that is ultimately defined by its core of dark, succulent Sacrashe vineyard fruit. Inky purple in color, this wine teems with a mosaic of aromas that forge onto the lavish palate: black spice, melted black licorice, black plum jam, black currants, dark cocoa, crushed rocks, coconut, freshly turned earth, and cigar box. The wine succeeds on both a hedonistic and intellectual level: balanced, complex, and luxuriant, unfolding and evolving with each sip. With Sacrashe tannins as its backbone, our "Kathryn Hall" holds 15+ years of aging potential.
