Wine Review: These days if you are going to spend $75 on a bottle of wine it needs to be very impressive. So I give you "The Beast!" This wine warrants many accolades and is well worth the money. It is pitch black colored and opaque. It opens with an attractive mild blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, extremely well balanced, and elegant. (For a Beast) The flavor profile is a delicious blend of blueberry and mild blackberry. The finish is dry and its ultra fine tannins sail on so nicely. This is the kind of wine you can’t stop drinking. It was so impressive you will brag about it to friends. (Which we did) It would be a perfect match with a filet mignon at your favorite steak house. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Beast by name, Beast by nature, this wine is the masculine to "The Beauty's" feminine. Gorgeous spiced fruit cake and dark fruits with chocolate, vanilla and a hint of coconut. "The Beast" displays the trademark Hentley Farm soft and supple tannins. The palate is all about chocolate, ripe dark fruits and spiced fruit cake with a waft of coconut which is bound by soft tannins. This is a powerful wine and has a perfect balance of fruit, oak and tannin.
