Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Carneros opens with a fragrant black plum and black raspberry bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, nicely balanced, soft and elegant. The flavor profile is an interesting melange of many flavors. Those flavors are a tasty blend of gentle red raspberry and red plum with hints of blueberry, cherry cola, oak and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is very food friendly and display nice finesse. I would pair this Pinot with cherry amaretto chicken. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Elegant aromas of violets, cherries and other red fruit layered with a hint of caramel. Fresh herbal notes give the nose added complexity. On the palate, strawberry and cranberry flavors meld with a subtle expression of creme brulee. The wine is medium-bodied in weight and expresses lively acidity and bright cherry flavors on the finish.
