Wine Review: We have been very fond on J's Chardonnay. This year I will step up my remarks and say I am impressed! The 2009 vintage is yellow colored and opens with an inviting lemon, oak, and melon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and well balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious oak infused ripe Bartlett pear and lemon blend with just a hint of cantaloupe. The finish is dry and its pleasant flavors linger nicely for quite some time. This is Chard that I could drink on its own and savor. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2009 J Vineyards Russian River Valley Chardonnay is a combination of old world minimalism and new world verve. Notes of Meyer lemon, peach, vanilla, toasted almond, and honey delight the nose and mouth. The weighty, seamless palate has a creamy texture reminiscent of crème brûlée. A long, luxurious finish exhibits hints of caramel, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
