Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay is an absolute steal. This wine opens with a light oak infused apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, and lip smacking good. The flavor profile is a slightly creamy oak infused Macintosh apple with hints of tropical papaya. The finish is dry and caressing. This delicious Chard is very food friendly. We would pair it with lobster bisque or baked stuffed shrimp. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2007 J Vineyards Chardonnay is a sublime combination of old world minimalist technique and new world fruit expression. The senses are aroused by scents of Meyer lemon, peach, vanilla, toasted almond and honey. The weighty, seamless palate has a creamy texture reminiscent of creme brulee. A long luxurious finish exhibits hints of caramel, nutmeg and cinnamon.
