On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, savory and fruit forward. The flavor profile is ripe blackberry with integrated old oak and hints of plum and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its very mild tannins are friendly. This is a very good value wine that would pair well with a grilled Kobe bacon burger with sauteed mushrooms.
