Wine Review: Randy Ullom and the KJ team did it again. They made another terrific Camelot Highlands Chard for our readers to enjoy. This year the wine is a brilliant light yellow color. It opens with a toasty light oak and lemon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, rich, and creamy. The flavor profile is a really tasty lemon custard with excellent oak integration. The finish is dry and it is very nicely prolonged. This wine would pair very nicely with grilled chicken sautéed with broccoli and penne in a thick white cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: "Tropical flavors – pineapple, mango and papaya with a creamy, lush, rich palate. Notes of cinnamon, candied lime and vanilla crème brûlée create an appealing and lingering sensation." – Randy Ullom, winemaster

Clinking Glasses Before Tasting Wine: Originates from medieval times. Milk was often spoiled, water was often polluted. Wine was usually safe. The host would drink the wine first and then clink glasses with guests to show the wine was good and safe for drinking.
