Wine Review: This almost clear colored Pinot Gris with a touch of straw color opens with a mild wet stone bouquet with a touch of green apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a pleasant mineral infused Anjou pear with notes of green apple. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Oregon Pinot Gris would pair well with linguini with clams doused in a white wine and garlic broth. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Light straw, emerald brilliance Aroma: Raspberry, grapefruit, honeydew melon, lime zest, floral notes, and a hint of honey Flavor: Lemon-lime, green apple, white peach, pineapple, a hint of spice Mouthfeel: Viscous mid palate, crisp acid, balanced finish

Your comments on this wine:

Clinking Glasses Before Tasting Wine: Originates from medieval times. Milk was often spoiled, water was often polluted. Wine was usually safe. The host would drink the wine first and then clink glasses with guests to show the wine was good and safe for drinking.
