Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a red raspberry bouquet with notes pomegranate and strawberry rhubarb pie. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly racy and acidic. The flavor profile is an extracted and juicy black cherry and cranberry blend with notes of minerality and black pepper. I also detected hints of oak and plum. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Zinfandel is would pair well with a sloppy rack of ribs. Enjoy - Ken
