Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay from Lafond is a classic California-styled Chard. It opens with a mild oak and gentle pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a very tasty caramel apple and oak blend with hints butterscotch, pear and a touch of minerality towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This is a Theresa kind of wine. We suggest pairing it with lobster ravioli. Enjoy - Ken
