Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine from Washington State opens with a black raspberry and cedar plank bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, fruit forward and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe black cherry with notes of black plum, refined minerality and boysenberry. I also detected hints of vanilla oak and coffee. The finish is dry and its tannins build up and stick around for a very long time. I would pair this big boy with a slow cooked pot roast. Enjoy - Ken
