Wine Review: This very good red wine from Meeker is an unusual blend of five grapes led by Viognier, a white grape. It is dark ruby colored and opens with a fragrant red raspberry and pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and very juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe cranberry and red plum blend with notes of pomegranate, wild cherry and hints of minerality and vanilla cream. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and acidity linger nicely. This unique wine will appeal to Pinot fans. It would pair well with a cherry amaretto chicken. Enjoy - Ken
