Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Syrah from Meeker open with a fragrant blackberry jam bouquet with hints of plum and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a strong mineral infused blackberry with notes of black olive and a hint of dark chocolate and anise. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors linger nicely. This Syrah would pair well with slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken
