Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Mer Soleil opens with fragrant and attractive golden delicious apple and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a very tasty oak influenced green apple with notes of gentle minerality, lemon, Anjou pear and a hint of butterscotch. The finish is dry and its flavors linger very nicely. This Chard was well received by our mini-tasting group. I would suggest pairing this Chard with a lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken
