Wine Review: This pale gold colored Chardonnay from the Horse Heaven Hills in Washington opens with a delicate bouquet of rose petals, citrus, butter and oak. On the plate, it is crisp with pleasant minerality and notes of Granny Smith apple and light oak flavors. The finish is very brief. Nonetheless, this food friendly Chard would be nice in the summertime with apples, Brie and crusty French bread on a picnic or at the beach. - Karen and Stu

Winemaker Notes: This elegant Chardonnay opens with notes of fresh pineapple and lemon meringue pie with hints of lemon-lime zest. Ripe orchard fruits surrounded by notes of sweet vanilla and honey flavors create a lush, juicy mouthfeel. The restrained ML fermentation has produced a wine that has bright acidity with clean fruit on the finish.
