Wine Review: This midnight blue colored blend from Merriam opens with a black raspberry and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, juicy and fruit forward. The flavor profile is red raspberry with notes of plum. I also detected hints of red currant. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are friendly and subtle. This easy to drink wine is food friendly and versatile. It would pair well with many foods. I would pair it with Theresa's meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dark and dense hue in color, bright rim of deep purple. Aromatics of raspberry, cassis and boysenberry. The palate gives way to round fruit, concentrated black cherry, red berries and a hint of Earl Gray tea. Medium tannins and bright acid. Great for drinking now or hold for a few years.
