Wine Review: This pale straw Sauvignon Blanc from Merriam is very good. It opens with a mild gooseberry bouquet with a hint of yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild yellow grapefruit and gentle mineral blend with notes of Honeydew melon. The finish is dry and its fades away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc is very easy to drink and food friendly. I would pair this wine with grilled swordfish kabobs. Enjoy – Ken
