On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, ultra smooth, and very well balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious rich blueberry with a hint of spice. The finish is quite dry and its very noticeable tannins are quite persistent. This wine was very popular at this year’s Wine Bloggers Conference. It would pair perfectly with barbecue short ribs. Enjoy - Ken Winemaker Notes: A medium garnet red color, with a bouquet of violets, blueberry, strawberry and tobacco on the nose. On the palate, a note of bright acid with bakers chocolate, light spice, and vanilla giving way to a structured tannin, and a long finish with cassis and currant.
