Wine Review: This light yellow Chardonnay definitely caught our attention from the first sip. It opens with an oak infused pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, fresh, and clean. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild oak infused green apple with a touch of butter and lime in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and it lingers nicely. This Chard would pair perfectly with chicken ravioli smothered in a wild mushroom cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The wine was aged nine months on the yeast with regular batonnage, or stirring, and the flavors are rich, yeasty and buttery with a core of apple and pear fruit. Our description of this nuanced wine confirms that it deserves Navarro's Premiere Reserve seal of approval: buttered croissant, apple-pear tart, cantaloupe and caramel apple. It taste delicious at cellar temperature but don't serve over-chilled or you might dull the wines complexity and subtleness.
