Wine Review: This red wine from Toro is very impressive! This opaque and onyx colored wine opens with a black licorice bouquet with a hint of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and very smooth. The flavor profile is an extracted black currant with notes of oak and black licorice. The finish is very dry and its huge tannins are very sticky and linger for quite a while. I would decant this wine for an hour and pair it with a big thick cowboy ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
