Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark red colored Zinfandel from the Bedrock Vineyard finished in second place in our Big Blind Tasting. It opens with a black cherry and red raspberry bouquet along with hints of oak and menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious plum and mild cherry vanilla blend with nicely integrated oak and minerality. We also detected a hint of blueberry and dark chocolate towards to the end. The finish is dry, sticky and extended. The Panel thought this Zin can be enjoyed on its own. Enjoy - KWGTP
