Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Pinot Noir opens with a black cherry and dark chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a grainy mineral and old oak influenced blackberry with notes of beef stick. I also detected some hints of blueberry as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Pinot benefited from being open for a bit. With air it smooth's out nicely. I would pair this Pinot with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This blend of Merriman and Lenne Vineyard Pinot Noir represents the nature of this AVA, with a bright red ruby hue in the glass, followed by aromas of forest floor, black cherry and fresh cut rosemary. The palate has bright acidity with flavors of brambleberry, dark chocolate and black currant. Silky tannins dance across the mid-palate and aid in a smooth, long finish. Drink now through 2024+.
