Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Barbaresco is a real big boy. It opens with an attractive black cherry bouquet with a hint of gentle oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, and has a very dry mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a delicious blueberry with nicely integrated oak. I also detected a hint of black licorice. The finish is very dry and its huge tannins go on forever. This wine will benefit from several years of aging. If you must tap into it soon, decant it and serve it with a ribeye. Enjoy – Ken
