Wine Review: This Marsanne lead white blend from Pax was impressive. It is unfined and unfiltered. It opens with a bees wax, honey, and apricot like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, and refreshing. The flavor profile is a very interesting blend of green apple and spicy Anjou pear with a touch of pineapple and honey. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. It also tingles the tongue for sometime. This wine would be a perfect pool wine for a hot summer day and would pair nicely with broiled scallops. Enjoy – Ken
