Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from the Anderson Valley opens with a very inviting lemon and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe pear and butterscotch blend with notes of oak and a hint of quince jam and coconut toward the end. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. I would enjoy this Chard on its own with friends. Cheers - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Grown in an exclusive block at Navarro Ranch's Hammer Olsen Vineyard, this refined Chardonnay highlights the delectable difference in terroir from "just down the road." Aged nine months in oak barrels sur lie with 100% malolactic fermentation, it has hints of cinnamon, dried chamomile flowers, and yeast dusted popcorn with complex flavors of Meyer lemon and quince.
