Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored blend opens with a very mild black currant bouquet with a hint of cinnamon spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak and gentle black plum with notes of oak and touch of black currant. The finish is dry and it's sticky tannins linger and are a bit tingly. The wine is food friendly and would pair well with beef Bourgogne. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Deep, almost black with purple highlights Nose: spectacular, very complex, intense, and deep roots, gentian, licorice stick, cypress, rose, peppermint Flavor: The palate is powerful and highly structured, with dense tannins.
