Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Grenache based red blend opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with a hint of violet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very smooth, well balanced and showing very well right now. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild black currant and black cherry blend with gentle integrated oak and a touch of black licorice. The finish is dry and its mild dusty tannins are quite lengthy. I would pair this wine with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Clearly a wine from a warm place, with its amber hues and richness of texture. The nose is reminiscent of morello cherries, flowers and liquorice. On the palate it shows an unctuous texture and is rich and concentrated. This is a fine bottle from a great terroir. It will go perfectly with beef, lamb and dishes containing black truffles.
