Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine opens with a musty truffle and red currant like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, and savory with an Old World style. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with notes of mulberry and integrated old oak. The finish is very dry and its notable tannins are quite big and stick with you for quite sometime. This tasty wine would pair well with a think cut of prime rib. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The colour is a deep ruby with a purple edge. The Syrah grape shows on the nose, with red fruit, black cherry and liquorice. On the palate this combines power with elegance, with its velvety, fleshy texture. The finish shows the lift typical of the cooler parts of the Rhone valley.
