Wine Review: Greenish yellow to golden straw in color, this Pinot Grigio from Italy has aromas of sourdough, birch bark and mint. On the palate, Meyer lemon and key lime flavors come first, followed by lemon curd and a bit of ginger. The finish is quick, flat and somewhat soapy, taking away from the very pleasing initial flavor profile. Still, this wine is a very good value and shows tremendous versatility and will pair well with raw shellfish, a beet salad or herbed chicken. - Jeoff

Winemaker Notes: The Piccini Pinot Grigio is a pale straw color with fresh and fruity aromas of pear, citrus and grapefruit. This is a full, fresh and lively wine with notes of ripe pear on the finish. Its crisp acidity balances well with the soft character making it a pleasant and easy to drink wine. This is an extremely versatile wine and that can be paired with a wide variety of foods. It is delightful as an aperitif and is perfect for seafood or grilled poultry dishes.
