Wine Review: This opaque and very dark onyx colored red blend opens with a mild black currant and black licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused black currant with notes of blackberry, black licorice, and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger nicely. This very nice Cotes du Rhone would pair well with a thick and juicy Kobe bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
