Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chianti is very good. It opens with a musty new leather and faint cherry bouquet with a hint of Chinese five spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced cherry with notes of minerality, anise and clove. The finish is dry and its mild dusty tannins linger nicely. This Chianti would pair nicely with Osso Buco alla Milanese. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Mild cherry. Nicely rocky/dusty quality to the pure, fresh dark fruit. Deliciously succulent with spicy, sweet dark cherry and wild headgerow fruit but just a little savoury too. Beautifully balanced and harmonious. Both smooth and tangy and finishes so fresh.
