Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Chardonnay from Oregon really shined in our blind tasting. It opens with an inviting light lemon and cream soda bouquet with some floral hints coming through as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty pear with notes of nicely integrated acidity. We also detected a touch of grapefruit and oak also being present. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this very nice Chard with a chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a light cream sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP
