Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Ponzi opens with a fragrant black raspberry and spiced plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a spiced plum and smoky oak blend with notes of black pepper and minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors show nice length. This Pinot would pair well with a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This presumptuous nose of brambly blackberry notes, cinnamon stick, graham cracker and lavender is as intriguing as the palate which gives salted caramel, black tea and strawberry balsamic notes. The generous fruit provides a silky middle and soft finish with lingering spicy tannins.
