Wine Review: This ruby colored wine is consistently Very Good every vintage. This year it opens with an attractive black cherry bouquet with a hint of black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and quite smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with a touch of integrated gentle old oak. There is also a hint of red currant and stoney minerals in the background as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. This wine is very Italian food friendly. Pair it with meat lasagna and enjoy! - Ken
