Wine Review: Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Franca & Tinto Cao This orangish brown colored 20-Year-Old Port from Quinta do Vallado opens with a rum and pecan bouquet with a hint of prune. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly sweet and acidic. The flavor profile is a spiced rum and molasses blend with notes of pecan, golden raisin and hints of coffee and amaretto. The finish is dry and its flavors and a little heat are nicely prolonged. The Panel suggested pairing this very good Port with pecan pie or konafa with ricotta. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The Quinta Do Vallado "20 Year Old Tawny" is rich and nutty with aromas of dried fruit and cigar. The palate is voluptuous and round, ending with a satin finish. A terrific after-dinner drink, this Port is the perfect accompaniment to dried fruits, nuts and cheese.
