Wine Review: This opaque and dark purple colored red blend from Portugal is a steal and was very well received by our tasting group. It opens with a spicy black cherry bouquet with hint of black raspberry and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, fruit forward and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a very tasty berry and black cherry blend with touch of oak towards the back palate. The finish is dry and it's mild fine tannins are friendly. This quaffer is the not the most complex wine, but you will definitely want a second glass. I would serve it with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep vibrant red, purple hues. Spicy red berry fruit aromas. Elegant palate, youthful fruit, fine tannic structure.
