Wine Review: This light gold colored Chardonnay from Ramey opens with a pear, pineapple and a mild musty oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic, lively and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lemon and mineral blend with notes of Anjou pear. I also detected a hint of tangy tangerine. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors are nicely prolonged. This bright Chard would pair well with a lemony shrimp risotto. Enjoy - Ken
