Wine Review: This golden rod colored dessert wine opens with an apricot and honey like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and sweet. The flavor profile is a honey and apricot blend with hints of rum cake, raisins, and mandarin orange. It is pretty complex. The finish is sweet and its intriguing flavors linger for a while. This dessert wine was very well received by the panel. They suggested pairing it with lemon meringue or apple pie. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A medium golden amber colour, on the nose showing orange peel, mint, figs and cinnamon. The palate is sweet and rich with cinnamon, apple, coupled to grapefruit aftertaste. Its sugar is well balanced with fine acidity which leads to a clean and refreshing, long finish. Will continue to improve over several years.
