Wine Review: This yellow colored Auslese level of Riesling opens with match stick bouquet with hints of pear in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, lively and pleasantly sweet. The flavor profile is a very tasty red apple with hints of orange and a touch of honey and apricot. The finish remains sweet and its flavors linger for quite some time. I would pair this wine with caramelized scallops served with a mushroom asparagus risotto. Enjoy - Ken
