Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from Santa Barbara opens with a fragrant Bartlett pear and lemon verbena bouquet with notes of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe lemon and pear blend with lots of new oak. I also detected hints of lime and ginger mixed in. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors linger for a very long time. This Chard is a full throttle CA styled wine. I would pair it with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Santa Barbara County had a small but very concentrated Chardonnay harvest resulting in a wine with intense fruit and flavor. It is bright and flavorful with a great deal of fruit intensity. We consider this our trademark Chardonnay, a wine we have consistently produced year after year.
