It is light ruby colored and opens with a very pleasant and fragrant mild red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and very elegant. The flavor profile is a very spicy black raspberry with notes of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate fine tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair well with pork tenderloin.
