Wine Review: This Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand is pale yellow colored and opens with kumquat, floral, grassy and slate aromas. It is medium bodied with generous acidity that makes you reach for that second sip. Its flavors are grapefruit, lemon pith and some mellow herbal notes. The finish is long and dry with peach pit notes showing up. Steam some mussels with garlic in this wine and pour yourself a glass. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: A lifted nose showing refreshing herbal notes, snow pea, melon, and fresh guava. Light bodied and refreshing with typical Marlborough flavors of passion fruit, gooseberry, and grapefruit. A pleasing herbaceous thread leads to a long, lingering finish.
