Wine Review: This yellowish gold colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a fragrant honey, ripe pear and crème brulee like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and rich. The flavor profile is a very tasty lemon, pear and honey blend with notes of oak. The finish is dry and its flavors show very nice length for a white wine. This Chenin would pair well with Foie Gras. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Bright pale golden color. On the nose the wine shows fresh floral and honey notes with hints of gooseberries and toasty oak aromas. The palate is filled with layers of dried fruit flavors. The wine has a zesty fresh acidity that adds to the freshness, resulting in a long lingering after taste. This is a true gastronomic wine and works wonderfully with sushi and creamy cheeses Camembert.
