Wine Review: The 2015 Smith & Perry Pinot Noir is cloudy red in color and opens with a fruity, jammy berry bouquet. I picked up blackberry, black raspberry and cranberries. I also noted hints of minerality and oak. This is a light bodied Oregon Pinot Noir that is smooth, moderately dry with slightly tart cherries. It was also juicy with balanced tannins and a hint of oak. This is an easy going and uncomplicated Pinot Noir. The finish was dry with hints of black pepper. I thought this Pinot Noir would be a great compliment to a hand carved roasted turkey sandwich with mayo and cranberry sauce. - Joe
