Wine Review: This light yellow colored Oregon Chard opens with a mild apple bouquet with just a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, creamy, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a gently oak infused mild Anjou pear with notes of red apple in the background. The finish is dry and it glides away smoothly and nicely. Winemaker Notes: Relying exclusively on fruit from our Dundee Hills property, our Estate Chardonnay showcases the bright, pure fruit of our vineyard site. Barrel fermented and aged in French oak, this is a complex, elegant, food-friendly wine. True Oregon Chardonnay. Baking spices, toasted almonds, apple, pear and hints of caramel define the aromatics. Elegant and silky on the palate with layers of ripe pear, vanilla and spice.
