Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and ruby colored Grenache from TOR opens with a black raspberry bouquet with a hint of red plum and anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and has nice acidity. The flavor profile is a gentle black raspberry and oak blend with notes of mild minerality. I also picked up some wild strawberry and blueberry in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its fruit and mild tannins show nice length. I would drink this Grenache on a cool summer evening with shrimp cocktail. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: There is no mistaking the 2014 Grenache as anything other than what it is. The color is a classic dark ruby red. On the nose there are tons of candied, ripe red fruits along with damp earth, bright spices and roasted meats. On the palate you will find more red fruits, licorice and dark fruit liqueur.
