Wine Review: This ink black colored blend from Terra Valentine is Excellent! It opens with a mild black currant bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious mineral infused black currant with notes of nicely integrated oak. I also detected hints of black olive and black cherry. The finish is very dry and its dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. This wine would pair perfectly with a well-marbled ribeye.
