Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc from Terra Valentine opens with a blueberry pancake bouquet with hints of strawberry and mint. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused plum with notes of oak. We also detected some hints of cranberry and spice drop mixed in. The finish is dry and its acidity, a touch of heat and some mild oak tannins are a bit extended. Our tasting group suggested pairing this Cab Franc with a slow roasted pork belly. Enjoy - Ken
